During 2010, the political year, Power Over was created. It has begun by questioning, with satire, the notion of authority within society. It challenges power, and encourages the audience to do the same. The core of the project: a selection of ominous statements that create an air of uncertainty, placed in various locations as stickers.
“I think a healthy society should question everything, including itself. Curiosity, inquiry and persistence are essential to development. Questioning authority is one of society’s methods of self-regulation and advancement.”
Dionysos Thorpe, Student.
